Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of lethora.chat. Please read them before creating an account or using the service.

Last updated: June 15, 2026

Agreement to These Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or using lethora.chat, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use lethora.chat. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your account access secure.

Authentication, account management, and billing account surfaces are provided through Clerk. You agree to provide accurate account information and to update it when needed.

The Service

lethora.chat provides a workspace for saving AI conversations, organizing folders, creating conversation versions, managing reusable profile context, selecting models, and optionally using your own OpenAI API key for eligible OpenAI-model requests.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as the product evolves. We may also apply usage limits, rate limits, security controls, maintenance windows, or model availability changes.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the messages, prompts, drafts, conversations, profile instructions, memory items, and other content you submit or create in lethora.chat.

You grant us the permission needed to host, process, transmit, store, display, and use your content to operate and improve the service, including sending relevant content to AI providers and infrastructure providers to generate responses and run model-backed features.

You are responsible for your content and for having the rights needed to submit it. Do not submit content that violates law, third-party rights, or the Acceptable Use Policy.

AI Outputs

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, unsafe, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs before relying on them.

lethora.chat does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice. Do not rely on AI outputs as a substitute for a qualified professional.

User-Owned OpenAI API Keys

If you save and enable an OpenAI API key, eligible OpenAI-model requests may be sent using your key. You are responsible for charges, usage limits, account rules, and provider terms that apply to your OpenAI account.

You may remove your stored key from settings. Removing a key stops future requests from using that stored key, but does not affect past provider-side usage or charges.

Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

lethora.chat may offer Free, Pro, Max, or other product tiers with monthly token budgets, profile limits, model routing, and other feature limits. Plan details shown in the product or billing provider surface control over summaries elsewhere.

Paid subscriptions renew until canceled. Checkout, payment methods, plan changes, cancellation, invoices, and billing account management are handled through Clerk Billing and its payment processors.

Canceling stops future renewals, but does not automatically refund amounts already charged. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we expressly approve a refund.

If billing fails, a subscription is canceled, or entitlement state cannot be verified, access may be downgraded, limited, or suspended until billing is resolved.

Acceptable Use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content, limit usage, suspend accounts, or terminate access if we believe the service is being used abusively, unlawfully, or in a way that risks harm to users, providers, or the service.

Third-Party Services

The service depends on third-party providers, including authentication, hosting, backend, billing, AI infrastructure, and AI model providers. Those providers may change their services, policies, prices, models, availability, or data practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Termination

You may stop using lethora.chat at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay required fees, or use the service in a way that harms the product or other users.

Disclaimers and Limits of Liability

The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, lethora.chat will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or provider-side charges caused by your use of the service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the operator of lethora.chat is established, except where local law requires a different rule.
